Who can apply?+
Verified veterans with a DD-214 (or equivalent service record) who complete OV6's homeownership-readiness assessment. Surviving spouses and certain Gold Star families may qualify — ask us.
Do veterans rent, or do they own?+
They own. OV6 is not a rental program. Veterans build equity in homes they own and may qualify for other opportunities.
Where are the homes?+
The inaugural theater is Sussex County, Delaware — Lewes and the Coastal Plain. Streets follow farm parcel lines and cul-de-sacs, not a campus. Site selection runs through SussexCounty.ai so lots clear zoning, flood, and permit reality before a shovel hits dirt.
What delivery methods do you use?+
Multiple. Families are not identical, so neither are the homes. Custom-built is for permanence and coastal character. Modular is factory-fast. 3D-printed concrete is next-generation cost. Other methods enter as lots and households require. OV6 matches method to the household, the lot, and the budget — not the other way around.

The Board of Directors is Kim Londergan, William R. Moffett, and S.P. D'Ignazio. The Advisory Board is Mark Davidson, Ken Eland, Matt Dudley, Bill Baldwin, Diana Suchodolski, Thomas Kane, and Molly Dudley. Headshots and bios publish on Our Team as members confirm. Are donations tax-deductible?+
Yes. Overwatch Veterans 6 Inc. is an IRS-determined 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 33-4737345, 509(a)(2)). Stripe issues an email receipt. Confirm the amount on checkout.
Is the AI toolkit actually free?+
Yes — free website building and AI software suites for qualifying veteran-owned businesses. That program is separate from homeownership. It is for veteran-owned businesses, not mixed into the housing pathway.
When do families move in?+
This is a development pipeline, not a waitlist for existing units. Interest-list veterans are contacted as lots clear entitlements and a delivery method is assigned. There is no guaranteed move-in date until a specific unit is under contract.
How is this different from HUD-VASH or Homes for Our Troops?+
Those programs matter. OV6 is a developer-operator: we build or set the house and structure ownership. We do not place veterans into someone else's rental stock. Free websites and AI software are a separate program for qualifying veteran-owned businesses.
